Waking up early is a struggle for me, as I
DON'T have to wake up
THAT early. Though yesterday was an important day for me, I still woke up reluctantly. Getting ready and meantime stone, well, like I'd told you, it's super early in the morning and that was usually my best sleeping time.
Hopped into my mom's car and off I went, nope! Not to the company yet. But to my uncle's house. It was seven in the morning. As usual, I'll sleep on his couch as he and my aunt will go for morning walk. An hour later, my uncle was being nice to me and he'd treated me breakfast! Since that was my first interview. Hehe.. aaahhhh~~~ the wonders of having breakfast and most of all.. Coffee...
And then, called godsis, picked me up and off we went for the interview. =s It's scary indeed. As it was my first interview for my second job wtf! LOL! Yup! I don't have to interview for my first job. LOL!
Got through the jam and there we were at Menara Prudential, Jalan Sultan Ismail. More butterflies flipping in my tummy. And we went up to Level 3 and my time is near. (LOL! Like I'm going to die. *Choi!* *Touch wood*) As the elevator door opened and the first place I went was not to the reception counter, but to the ladies. LOL!
After doing everything, went to the receptionist counter and ask for the HR that called me the day before. When she came out, she greeted me with a smile and she told me it was only an informal interview. *What a relief!!* I can just feel my heart lifted. Not that nervous anymore until she told me that her boss will come and see me. "BOSS??!!!! I thought it was you!!" =s She shakes her head and smiles and left me alone. *Gasp!*
Then her boss came out. Greeted me, led me to the interview room and we started interviewing.
10 minutes later.
I was out, relieved!
DONE! *a deep breath breathed out* as the elevator door shut.
What a relief I tell you. It's worse than my piano exams. Thank God it's done!!! *phew*
And how did the "interview" go, you must be wondering. LOL! Firstly, I managed to avoid all blond statements. LOL! Secondly, the "interview" seems to be more like a chitchat. And thirdly, the interviewer is super funny, his speech portrays of somebody I know and some of you may know, THE SOTONG!! LOL! Fourthly, it's like a Q&A session. Well, it is a Q&A session. Just that, the questions are just general. (I was just wondering how come it took 10 minutes so long. LOL!) And because I'm quite scared and nervous, he asked one question and answered like in a super short sentence. Wait! It's not even a sentence, it's only a few words. "Where did you study?" "Taylor's college." "What you'll be doing later?" "Bachelor in Mass Communication." "Oh! Which uni?" "HELP." "If I put you in to transfer the trust fund data, will you be able to do it?" "Can." LOL!!! Yes! I was scared and stone. Laugh all you want. HMPH!
But to come to think about it, it was really funny. The talkative, loud Pearl was quiet and stone that day. She was very alert but too scared and therefore stone. -____-"
And now, I've got to wait till Monday to confirm about the job. And that is what I call efficiency, which Starbucks has lots to learn! I'm so going to boycott the Starbucks in 1U. Blek!
Actually, godsis had told me last night whether I'll get the job or not.
