Dear Daddy God,

I thank You for giving me such a wonderful uncle. The one and only that have took care of me and my family, especially the days when I needed a father. I am thankful, through thick and thin that my family went through, this lovely uncle of mine has never left us but helped us through our most difficult time in our lives. I am thankful that he is now saved with You!

Dear Lord, the doctors said that he might not be able to make it till Sunday. But, this day, dear Lord, before You take him home, I pray, by Your grace and mercy, that may You sustain his life for a few days or weeks until You think the day is best for him to leave. I know this is a very greedy wish, but at least let him get through the first few days of Chinese New Year where everyone, all the family members, relatives and friends who are on their way back be able to come to visit him before You take him away. Or at least, let his very own heart's desire be fulfilled before You take him home with You. I know, by faith, that You will perform miracles, as how You have healed the sick, raised the dead and cast out demons. As how You have answered all my prayers. In Your time, Lord. May it be in Your time. 'Cause only You know what is best for Your child.

Lastly, dear Lord, that may You continue to give him strength and peace in his heart. Fill him, Lord with Your love, the joy and the peace of God. May you cover him with the precious blood of Jesus from the top of his physical head to the tip of the toe of the spirit man. Send guardian angels to guard over him, and the room that he is staying now. I also pray, dear Lord, that the nurses will be alert and grant the doctors who are in charged the wisdom to treat him.

I commit everything into Your hand. My heart will not be troubled nor will I be afraid because as what you have promised me in Your word, the peace of God is with me (John 15:27). I claim every promises that You have given. Also, I thank You, Lord for friends who are always there to encourage me. May You bless them too!
